Associate Professor - Wadsworth Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
Dr. Yoon has joined the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at West Virginia University since 2013. He received a B.S. and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Inha University of Korea, and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering specialized in Construction Engineering and Management from Purdue University. His research interests are in the areas of data-driven infrastructure asset management for deterioration modeling, life-cycle cost analysis, and optimal decision-making; Innovation in urban infrastructure systems for smart cities; Project risk controls; Advanced project management techniques; Construction waste management; and, Sustainable construction methods and equipment.
