Postdoctoral Fellow - Wadsworth Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
Dr. Datta joined the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at WVU in September 2023 as a Postdoctoral Fellow. She works in the area of Environmental Engineering and is passionate about addressing the environmental challenges employing biotechnological methods to pave for a greener future. She is presently researching sustainable nutrient removal opportunities from lagoon wastewater systems. Her areas of interest also include biosurfactant-enhanced oil recovery (EOR), CO2 utilization using potential microalgal communities, bioremediation, microbial technologies, and various biological wastewater treatment processes.
