Mario Perhinschi

Professor - Department of Mechanical, Materials and Aerospace Engineering

Perhinschi began his professional career as an engineer for ROMAERO Aircraft Enterprise of Bucharest, Romania in 1984. In 1986, he became a Senior Researcher for the Institute of Fluid Mechanics and Flight Dynamics of Bucharest. Beginning in 1988, this overlapped with his work as a Teaching Assistant Professor (TAP) for the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest. Perhinschi, then became a Graduate Research Assistant in 1993. Three years later, he became a Senior Researcher for the National Aerospace Research Institute in Bucharest. During this time (1998-1999) he also returned as a TAP at the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest. In 2001, Perhinschi left to join the Mechanical, Materials and Aerospace Engineering Department here at WVU.
