Dr. Sliman is a research professor in informatics since 2010 at Efrei Paris (a part of Paris-Pantheon-Assas University). The main interests of his research are Security and Trust by design, defining new Cryptographical and access control paradigms adapted to Artificial Intelligence and IoT and enabling distributed systems by secure and resilient infrastructures.
Dr. Sliman received the Computer Engineering degree in 2000 then worked as research engineer until 2004 when he resumed his education. In 2006, he received a master’s degree in computer science from INSA Lyon, France, and in 2009, the Ph.D. degree from INSA Lyon, in collaboration with the University of the Ryukyus, Japan.
In 2020, he obtained his Habilitation for Full Professor Degree (HDR) from the University of Paris-Saclay, France.
Dr. Sliman taught and did his research as a visiting professor in many international universities, including Beijing University of Technology, China, Kyushu institute of technology, Ritsumeikan University and the University of the Ryukyus, in japan and the Institute of Visual Informatics, Malaysia.
He is the main Managing Editor of the Journal of Applied Soft Computing (Elsevier) and a member of the editorial board of many international journals. He has chaired and organized more than ten IEEE sponsored conferences.
He delivered many keynotes and invited talks in USA, India, Japan, Italy, Malaysia, France, and Spain.
