Career Development Specialist - Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources
Kelly Stewart may look familiar to Statler College students, faculty, staff, and alumni because she has been working specifically with engineering and technology students since 2010. Stewart began her higher education career at WVU NRCCE (1995-2006). She then worked at the WVU Career Services Center (2006-2023). Stewart joined WVU FEP as a Program Coordinator and Teaching Instructor, where she will be managing some aspects of student success, engagement activities, academic coaching, and teaching.
Stewart was also an Adjunct Faculty Instructor for WVU CPASS (2008-2020) and a teaching instructor for Career Services and CLASS (2007-2023) where she has taught 97 courses with more than 2,750 students. Stewart is committed to sharing valuable knowledge and passionate about leading others to reach career goals and become successful. She earned a 14-month certification by the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) in Effective College Instruction (2020) and has received the WVU Go Beyond Employee Values Recognition Coin (2018).
