With 20+ years of experience, John A. Frazer is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). His education in occupational safety and health includes a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Safety and a Ph.D. in Occupational Safety and Health, both from West Virginia University’s College of Engineering and Mineral Resources. 

During his tenure with the WVU Industrial Extension, he has provided industrial hygiene and safety consulting to more than 250 industrial clients. He has helped clients identify hazards, design and implement hazard controls, and discuss the feasibility of such controls to eliminate or reduce occupational exposures in the workplace. He is an active member in the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH), and American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP).
