Professor Emeritus - Department of Mechanical, Materials and Aerospace Engineering
Prucz has a long record with the Mechanical, Materials and Aerospace Engineering Department, having been a part of it for over 26 years. As an instructor, he was awarded several honors including Outstanding Teacher (2002 & 2008) and the George W. Weaver award for outstanding teaching of mechanics (2004). In 2007, he became a full Professor before becoming Interim Chairman in 2009. In 2011, he was appointed Chair of the department. After his chair appointment, Prucz continued work on several research projects.
