David Wyrick

Wyrick’s research interests are in effective management of technology in small and medium enterprises, engineering management, and engineering education.

Prior to joining WVU, Wyrick served as the Dean of the School of Science and Engineering at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco; the Bryan Pearce Bagley Regents Chair of Engineering at Texas Tech University; and Head of the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Minnesota Duluth. He also has industrial experience in the petroleum and manufacturing industries. He is a Past President of the American Society for Engineering Management and served as ASEM’s first Assistant Executive Director.
