Andrew Rhodes

Teaching Assistant Professor - Department of Mechanical, Materials and Aerospace Engineering

After receiving dual Bachelor degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from WVU, he entered WVU's direct track PhD program in Aerospace Engineering. As a graduate student, he was a member of ASEL where he researched computer vision topics including object detection and description in 3D point clouds. During his undergraduate and graduate studies at WVU, Rhodes was a member of the Steel Drum Ensemble for 18 semesters and the WVU Marching Band for 3 years. He competed in the WV Collegiate Business Plan Competition and won top prize and received grant money to start his business Neighborhood Kombuchery.
