Akua Oppong-Anane

Teaching Assistant Professor - Fundamentals of Engineering Program

Oppong-Anane is a Teaching Assistant Professor with the West Virginia University Statler College of Engineering & Mineral Resources Fundamentals of Engineering program.  She graduated with a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (K.N.U.S.T.) in Ghana and worked as an Assistant Research Officer at the Water Research Institute (W.R.I.) of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (C.S.I.R.) in Ghana before coming to graduate school at the University of Florida (UF). She graduated with a MS in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering Sciences from UF. An interesting fact about Oppong-Anane is that she has lived in four different countries: Ghana, Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
